Recently Amtek’s Fabrication Team partnered with the Biomedical Engineering Staff at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital to resolve a manual handling issue with their Resuscitaire Trolleys.

The solution was to install a motorised fifth wheel to assist with the movement of the trolley to create drive, and compensate for the awkwardness and weight of the unit.

We also installed our Integrated Battery Charging System to allow for easy charging of the motorised system.
